About
Zoey Crow is a New York based media designer for live performance. She holds an M.F.A in Design and Technology with a focus in Integrated Media from the University of Texas at Austin.
In 2018, Zoey graduated summa cum laude from the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University with B.A. degrees in theatre design and production with a focus in media design and filmmaking practices. Since graduation, Zoey has worked as an Assistant Video Designer on Heartbreak Hotel at Chicago’s Broadway Playhouse and a production of Leonard Bernstein’s Mass at ASU Gammage. She also worked as a freelance motion graphics artist for EMN8 Creative.
Zoey first got involved in media design as a co-designer on a student written play during the spring semester of her freshman year of college and fell in love with every aspect of media design. She really likes the versatility of media and how it can be transformed and reshaped to fit the unique needs of each show. Finding ways to use the media to add another layer to the storytelling as well as creating exciting new perspectives on classic stories are Zoey’s favorite parts of designing. She also enjoys working in Adobe After Effects to create content.
When not working on productions, she is an avid movie goer.
